Looking up on the web, it looks like the home builders are pretty much split on which one is better. Pella has better advertising.
Marvin can make my casement windows look very much like double-hung windows. Wife likes that better. She loves the old-fashioned look of them but she is not able to open the double-hungs anymore in my current house to clean them anymore. You have to compress the side and pull the top of the sash. We are not so young anymore. That is why I am building with casement windows. She can just crank the casement window open to get at both sides from inside the house. She tried it herself in the showroom so I know she can do it.
Anyone know anything about which ones are better?
